ECO Group to build waste processing plant in Khakassia

KRASNOYARSK, Aug 31 (PRIME) – Waste management company ECO Group plans to build a 265 million ruble first modern waste processing plant in Khakassia by the beginning of 2022, the region’s government said on Tuesday.

“The investment project Construction of a Modern Waste Processing Plant with a Solid Waste Landfill in the North-Eastern Part of Chernogorsk initiated by the company ECO Group is recognized by the government of Khakassia as large-scale and a priority for the socio-economic development of the republic,” the government said in a statement.

“Total investments in the project will make 265.78 million rubles. It is planned to create 81 workplaces that means tax payments to the republican budgets of all levels.”

Khakassia granted ECO Group the right to sign a lease agreement for a land plot without tenders, the region’s government said.
